Product Details

A neutral per phase Type MC cable designed for multi-wire branch circuit applications
Addresses harmonics distortions in power distribution systems and meets the requirements of NEC® 210.4(B) Disconnecting Means
Eliminates shared neutrals, and allows electrical systems to continue to operate
Decreases the time it takes to identify a faulty circuit because only the affected single phase breaker will trip thus, reducing the length of unnecessary outages

AFC Cable Armored cable is made of solid copper for high conductivity and durability. It can easily accommodate five conductors of size 12 AWG. It measures 250 ft x 0.613 Inch outside diameter. Cable operates at 120/208 Volts for enhanced performance. It features green type THHN/THWN with polypropylene covering on each insulated grounding conductors to provide high grade protection. It has white with "black" text and white with "red" text phase neutral conductors for easy identification.

Cable helps in eliminating shared neutrals and permits electrical systems to continue to operate. It can easily identify a faulty circuit because only the affected single phase breaker will trip and reduces the length of unnecessary outages. It is ideally used for multi-wire branch circuit wiring to offer variety of power distribution systems from lighting to devices and receptacles. Traditional type MC cable has a temperature rating of 90 deg C. Cable is UL listed and meets OSHA, HUD, NEC®210.4(B), Federal specification A-A-59544 standards.
