Pepperl & Fuchs Retroreflective sensor comes with polarization filter to detect shiny objects and small parts/designs. It offers reliable operation under all conditions and resistance against noise. Sensor has object detection range of 0 - 15 m. It has the voltage rating of 10 - 30 VDC. It measures 15 mm x 41.5 mm x 65 mm. Sensor has visible red LASER diode for light source and offers modulated visible red light of wavelength 650 nano-meter.

Sensor uses two yellow LEDs as function indicator that light up when light beam is free, flash when falling short of the stability control and off when light beam is interrupted. It has glass-fiber reinforced plastic PC housing with nickel plated, die cast zinc frame for added protection and comes with plastic pane optical face. It uses 5-pin, 90 deg rotatable M12 metal connector for electrical connection. Sensor offers superior protection against short-circuit and reverse polarity.
