Pepperl & Fuchs Inductive sensor has PNP switching element with NO function. It is rated to operate at a distance of 8 mm with an assured operating distance of 0 - 6.48 mm at -25 to 70 deg C and 0 - 6.08 mm at -40 to -25 deg C. The 12-mm diameter brass, nickel-plated housing has sensing face made of PBT material for high strength with durability. Sensor operates at a voltage of 10 - 30 Volts and current of 0 - 200 milli-Amps at a switching frequency of 0 - 1500 Hz. It has reduction factor of 0.39 for aluminum, 0.3 for copper, 0.45 for brass and 0.7 for 304 material.

Sensor requires a no-load supply current of less than 16 milli-Amps and has less than 3 Volts voltage drop. It has typical 5% hysteresis and gives DC output polarity with yellow multihole-LED indicator. Sensor has four-pin, M12 connection type. It has non-flush installation. Sensor is pulsed short circuit protected and reversed polarity protected for added safety. It operates at a temperature of -40 to 70 deg C. Inductive sensor is IP67 rated for use in hazardous locations. Sensor is cULus/cCSAus listed and CCC certified.
