Thomas & Betts Shrink-Kon® HSC Series 3:1 ratio heat shrinkable end cap in black color is made of cross-linked polyolefin and comes with thermoplastic adhesive liner. It offers effective method for sealing 6 - 2 AWG cable ends and pipe conduit. End cap provides extra thickness at the tip of the end to prevent sharp ends of the cable form puncturing the seal. It comes with thick adhesive liner to provide complete environmental protection and insulation. It is resistant to common fluids and solvents. End cap measures 0.750 Inch diameter x 2.500 Inch. It elongates up to 550% of the original size after heating and can recover +1%, -10% longitudinal change.

End cap offers extra thickness at the tip of the end prevents sharp ends of the cable form puncturing the seal. End cap adhesive softens at 90 +/-5 deg C and shrinks at a temperature of 120 deg C. It has hardness rating of 50 D and has dielectric strength of 500 V/mil. End cap has tensile strength of 14.5 MPa and specific gravity of 14.5. It is rated for voltage of 600 Volts. It has continues operating temperature rating of -55 to 110 deg C. End cap is V-0 Per UL 94 flammability rated. It comes with water absorption capacity of 0.1% and volume resistivity of 10^16 Ohm/cm. End cap can withstand temperature rating of 250 deg C for up to 4 hours without being cracking/flowing. It has recovered wall thickness of 0.090-Inch for excellent fluid resistance.
