At Crescent Electric, we care about our employees and want each employee to be healthy and active. We are committed to rewarding good health, positive lifestyle choices, and health improvements. That’s why, in addition to comprehensive medical insurance, we offer resources to make getting and staying healthy easier for our employees.
Wellness services include:
During the flu season, employees are provided an opportunity to get flu shots for free.
Free, confidential health screenings are provided annually to offer employees on our medical insurance personal guidance on various aspects of their health. These results can be used to help develop personal health plans.
Health Risk Assessment
After completing a Health Risk Assessment, employees can see what lifestyle choices are impacting their health. Your report will include an assessment of your stress, exercise, and eating habits as well as other results designed to provide an assessment of your health.
Every person has different goals for fitness and health, different time constraints, and different physical limitations. Wellness coaches are provided to work one-on-one to create customized programs for exercise, weight management, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and more.
Lunch and Learns, physical activity programs, and wellness information posted on the company intranet are just a few things Crescent Electric provides to help promote health and wellness.

Testimonials on Wellness
“I have lost 35 lbs and have been taken off my high blood pressure medication and cholesterol medication… pending a follow up with the doctor, the 90 day evaluation period is almost over. This has been a lifestyle change, and a good one. Eating right and some exercise hasn’t hurt me at all. Thanks for the program!”
Without this program I don’t think I would have achieved the success I have had over the past year. Thanks to Crescent for implementing this program.”
To date I have dropped 40+ pounds. I feel better and have more energy. I have done this by limiting my calorie intake not by dieting but just eating less and eating better. I try to walk 10,000 steps a day and usually get this done by getting up from my desk walking out into the warehouse and visually checking stock instead of relying on the computer. You would be surprised how many steps you actually take a day. I weigh myself every week and would lose 2-3 pounds every week.”
I am now off of my cholesterol medication and my cholesterol and blood pressure numbers have come down to a normal level due to improved eating habits and exercise. What’s ironic is I am doing things at age 38 that I wasn’t and probably couldn’t do at age 25 and my kids have a hard time keeping up with me now. It’s been 5 months and I have lost 50 lbs and feel great.”
