Size: 0.560 Inch x 2 Inch
No damage, type 2 protection for IEC and NEMA starters when properly sized
Time-delay permits 130% FLA sizing for back-up motor protection
Low Watt loss power consumption
Bussmann Low-Peak® Class RK1 Time-delay fuse is rated at 3 Amps/250 VAC/125 VDC. It has an interrupt rating of 300 kilo-Amps VAC RMS and 100 kilo-Amps VDC. Fuse offers a time-delay of minimum 10 seconds at 500% of rated current providing ultimate protection. It features ferrule ends and can be mounted on a holder with clip termination. Its time-delay characteristics allow 130% FLA sizing for back-up motor overload protection and single-phasing protection. It measures 0.560 Inch x 2 Inch. Dual-element fuse can be used as a time-delay or a slow-blow fuse making it economical. Limits current for maximum short-circuit protection and reduced arc flash hazard.
Low voltage fuse offers low watt loss power consumption and its electrically isolated end caps provide additional safety. Also provides maximum protection to motors against burnout from overloads and single phasing. Using simple 2:1 ampacity ratio, easy selective coordination can be achieved. It finds its application in large distribution switchboards, power panelboards, motor control centers and machinery disconnect switches. Fuse is UL listed and CE/CSA certified.
