Detailed Description: Panduit BSK Series kynar insulated butt splice is constructed from highly conductive copper and is tin-plated to resist corrosion. It delivers superior resistance to gamma radiation and aggressive chemical solvent. It comes with insulated crimp to prevent wire insulation from exposing copper strands and for protection against electric shorts. Splice accommodates 16 - 14 AWG conductors with insulation wire diameter of 0.160-Inch through funneled type crimp barrel to prevent turned back strands from short circuiting. It is used for CT-400, CT-460 installation tools.

Splice is designed in such a way to reduce strain on the connector thus resulting in a reliable connection. It comes in 3/8-Inch long blue color strip to indicate applicable wire size for quick visual identification of part. It is rated for voltage of 600 Volts and can withstand up to a temperatures of 300 deg F. Splice is 1.100-Inch long. Splice is RoHS compliant.
