Pepperl & Fuchs Inductive sensor features PNP switching element with NO/NC connection. It is rated to operate at a distance of 2 mm with an assured distance of 0 - 1.62 mm. The switching state is indicated with yellow LED. The 12-mm nickel-plated brass housing has sensing face made of PBT for high strength and durability. Sensor operates at a voltage of 10 - 30 Volts and has current rating of 0 - 200 milli-Amps at 0 - 1000 Hz. It has reduction factor of 0.25 for aluminum, 0.15 for copper and 0.66 for 304 material.
Sensor has typical 5% hysteresis and less than 2 Volts voltage drop. It delivers DC output and requires a no-load supply current of less than 15 milli-Amps. Inductive sensor has four-pin M12 x 1 connector and can be flush mounted for easy installation. Inductive sensor is reverse polarity protected and offers pulsed short-circuit protection. It operates at a temperature of -25 to 70 deg C. It is IP67 rated for use in hazardous environments. Inductive sensor is cULus/cCSAus listed.
